broken screen

So my phones screen is completely shattered, half of it is even black with colorful lines on it. It works and turns on and charges and everything, I just can't do anything on it, the touch doesn't work. I am trying to send and receive sms messages onto my mac and my iPad since my phone doesnt work but i need to go on my settings from my phone to be able to do that and as i said before, i can't do anything on it. Is there a way to connect my phone to my mac and move everything from there? or just another way around it.
