Can't play Beats radio on BMW iDrive

Hello all,

I'm having this annoying bug on my BMW iDrive system (2014 NBT with Apps) with my iPhone 6. I try to listen to Beats radio, some times on Apple Music playlists, and it keeps failing. Or the music stops playing, or no sound from the car, or the worst, it quits playing and starts playing the first music on my iPhone. It's really annoying and the bug is really stubborn.

Is anybody having this issue or has suggestions for a solution? It happens on both BT-audio and USB.

I'm having exactly the same issue. It happens with any of the new Apple music radio stations. It suddenly stops playing, normally after about 1 minute. I then select source twice to take me back to Bluetooth, or USB (both fail the same) and it might start the station again, or just fall out to the first song which is stored on my iPhone. Extremely annoying.

This became even worse for me. I cannot play music at all on my iPhone. I press play on any music and it automatically skips every music on the first 2 seconds, for no reason.

Same problem here - 2013 NBT without apps. Only tried USB though.

I manage to solve the iPhone non-stop-skipping. Logging out and in of iTunes/App Store did the trick.

BMW issues still remain.

This happens to me as well. iphone 6 plus and iphone 6 on BMW i3. Beats 1 stops playing whether connected through USB or bluetooth. Maddening.

Having exactly the same problem on 2015 F10 5-series; happens both USB-connected and via Bluetooth.

It seems to have been fixed with 8.4.1. I've been using Apple Radio daily on my bmw, and Beats Radio plays fine most of the time.

I noticed that sometimes, when starting other stations, it sometimes gets stuck on that station and doesn't let me listen to other music. But it's rare and i can't replicate this bug.
