If I completely erase my old ipod, will the same transferred data be deleted on my new one?

I Got a new ipod and plan on giving my old one to my sister. She wants her own apple id but im worried that if i erase my old ipod, the data i transferred to my New ipod will be lost??

If you just restore/erase the entire iPod nothing will be lost from your new iPod. Just do not deleted data from the old iPod like contacts since then those will be deleted from your you new device
