Broken plugins all of the sudden?

Today I was working in FCPX and all the sudden I got this weird image on one of my clips. On this clips I have the Pixel Film Studios PROSTAR plugin applied. That's what is looking really messed up all of the sudden. This seemed to happen right after I installed the registered version of MotionVFX's mFlare plugin to replace the demo version. Is it possible for plugins to break other plugins this badly? I also have some missing effects settings in some of the other Pixel Film Studios plugins. Has anyone else ever had this problem or know how to fix it? I've tried reinstalling all of the plugins but nothing has helped.
