Photo agent making macbook air run at 100 degrees celsius.

I'm not sure if there is a problem with my mac or not, but the process Photo Agent from Photos app is making my mid 2012 Macbook Air fan run at over 6000 rpm with a temperature at 100 degrees celsius. I am just running Safari and Photos app. I am not doing video streaming or audio streaming at all. Is this normal?
