How do I backup the applications I have on my iMac?
iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)
Put copies of them on an external drive formatted as Mac OS Extended, or use a product such as the Disk Utility to clone your entire system to that drive. Backing up only the applications won’t preserve their data.
