Switched to I-phone 5s from I-phone 5, but my 5s has 12 gb capacity versus my I-5 has 27.3.
Now wont allow my music to be downloaded and camera wont work saying not enough memory.

YYes, you switched to a lower capacity device, so you have to store less on it. Why is that a surprise to you?
No surprise. Only wanted to see why this is the case. Going back to my 5 and giving back the 5s. I wanted the faster processor but giving up gb is not practical.

There are different models of 5s with different amounts of storage, if you want to pay more.
I just did a conversion kbps on my music....which free up 4.83 gb of space. Now I can use the camera! Problem solved.
Apple also has a purchasing option for more GB which I just avoided. Will see how this works.
