Is it possible to boost the gain on a region instead of the whole track?

I am using Garageband to edit a podcast that has occasional clips from movies or TV. I have a track set up for these clips and I am familiar with how to adjust the gain for the whole track or use the gain to raise and lower the gain at a certain point using the full track gain.

What I would like to do is boost the gain of a particular region or clip. I have seen this in other software where the waveform itself appears larger as the gain is boosted. Is this possible in Garageband?
