I have tried so many times to backup my iPhone to iTunes but all I get is this error
"iTunes could not back up the iPhone "Baizen" because the iPhone disconnected."
I already delete and reinstall my iTunes in Windows and at the same time ensure that my cable is properly attached to iPhone and laptop. Can anyone please help me? Thanks

Happened to me, too, many times. Here is the fix: Put your iPhone into Airplane Mode, then restart the iPhone. Backup should work now. Did this work for you?
Your Backup is likely corrupted. Go to iTunes Preferences, select 'Devices', locate your Backup, select it and delete it. Disconnect and reconnect, sync, and...voila! You can back up again.
Thank you! I have been struggling with this since March and haven't located a useful fix until your post. I am also mad at myself for not considering this as a fix long ago. Right in front of my face!

Thanks! Tried all sorts of methods and still couldn't get my phone to sync until I realised there could be a possibility that my old backup was not compatible after upgrading my iTunes / iOS. Deleted it and then tried backing up and it worked!!
As an FYI, this worked for me, however for me it only works on the first backup after the backup removal. Any second, incremental backup fails with the same message. To get a backup I have to remove the existing one and do a full backup every time, which takes an hour and a half.
This worked for me.
