iPhone not showing My Music content that exists in iTunes (v12.2, iOS 8.4, OS X 10.10.4)

After resolving some prolbems that occurred with the Apple Music installation, my iPad syncs perfectly with the iTunes content on my Mac; however, my iPhone refuses to show any My Music content, even though my iPad has no such trouble. The problem persists after numerous syncing attempts, iOS restart and reset. How can I force the iOS Music app on my iPhone to recognize all my songs that are clearly present in iTunes 12.2 on the Mac, just as my iPad does?
