WiFi Will Not Connect When 15"MBP Docked

This evening, for an unknown reason my matchbook was on running and docked. I lost wifi signal and was not able connect to my home network. All other devices in the home functioned as normal. After 2 hours I decided to reset using time machine. It worked for about 3 minutes then again it dropped the connection to my router. Several restarts and I decided what the heck i'll leave the lid open (luckily my hengedock is shipping cannot here yet). I have a bluetooth keyboard, magic mouse and hdmi cable plugged in. If I close the lid everything else stays running but I can't connect to WiFi and it says that the connection has timed out. Once my dock arrived, I will not have an option to leave the lid open!
