Ipod Touch is not connecting to computer or Itunes and how I fixed it.
I recently noticed that my Ipod Touch G5 wasn't connecting to Itunes or my computer so i tried Goggleing and Yahooing and Binging for help and found none. I stumbled upon a fix that I shall share now below. I take no responsibility if you screw something up. I am not an expert. Now with that out of the way follow each step in order.
- Go to devices and printers
- Right click on "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" and click Properties.
- Click Hardware Tab.
- Highlight Apple Mobile Device USB Driver and click properties.
- Click Change Settings.
- Click yes on UAC Prompt.
- Go to Drivers Tab
- Click Update Driver.
- Click Browse my Computer for Driver Software.
- Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
- Highlight the previous driver that worked and click next.
- Bang! your done.
Now needless to say this may not work for you. you might not have a previous driver to fall back on. I have windows 7 x64 you may have win 8.1 or 10 preview or whatever. I know nothing about those.
