Ipod Touch is not connecting to computer or Itunes and how I fixed it.

I recently noticed that my Ipod Touch G5 wasn't connecting to Itunes or my computer so i tried Goggleing and Yahooing and Binging for help and found none. I stumbled upon a fix that I shall share now below. I take no responsibility if you screw something up. I am not an expert. Now with that out of the way follow each step in order.

  1. Go to devices and printers
  2. Right click on "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" and click Properties.
  3. Click Hardware Tab.
  4. Highlight Apple Mobile Device USB Driver and click properties.
  5. Click Change Settings.
  6. Click yes on UAC Prompt.
  7. Go to Drivers Tab
  8. Click Update Driver.
  9. Click Browse my Computer for Driver Software.
  10. Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
  11. Highlight the previous driver that worked and click next.
  12. Bang! your done.

Now needless to say this may not work for you. you might not have a previous driver to fall back on. I have windows 7 x64 you may have win 8.1 or 10 preview or whatever. I know nothing about those.
