New Macbook pro

Hi, just wondering if i purchase a new macbook pro that comes with the latest OSX, can i roll back to mountain lion if i have a copy of it? Reason being my DJ software runs better with mountain lion as far as i seen and as well as other users who have the same dj software say the same thing .... Thanks

As dominic stated, it isn't possible to install Mountain Lion on a new Mac. It may be possible to install one previous OS (Mavericks in this case), but since Yosemite has been out this long, I'm pretty certain the new Macs have hardware that even Mavericks doesn't have the drivers for.


Apple doesn't back-fill its older OS's with drivers for the new hardware. It just releases a new OS with the necessary drivers.
