Q: Troubleshooting/Unable to upload photos to photostream shared albums from MAC with PHOTOS application on WIFI connection
I am using the new Photos application built into the latest MAC IOS update which replaces iPhoto. I have had a lot of trouble downloading/syncing the photos from my iPhone 6 plus to my Photos application (frequently don't transfer or when they do it gets stuck and I have to restart the application), however now that I have the photos in my photo library I seem unable to consistently upload them to new photostream shared albums that I have created.
The albums clearly create, but when I click to add photos and select from my library I get no sense that they are uploading. Overnight they loaded once, but the next night they didn't load at all. I have also tried to upload directly from My Albums by selecting all photos in an album and selecting upload and selecting the shared album. This didn't work either even though at least in this case I see a little black circle that gradually seems to fill up suggesting it is selecting those photos.
Does anyone know the correct procedure from the Photos app to upload the photos and how one even tells that it is uploading correctly other than waiting and waiting..... In other words do you see a few photos uploading first and if not does it mean it is NOT working.
I am traveling and the WIFI is only good in my room.
I have observed that I have no problem uploading a photo directly to an album from my iPhone 6 plus. This seems to be an issue related to using PHOTOs.
