unable to back up my iphone6 in itunes

I'm unable to back up my iphone6 in itunes coz when i am trying to back up it is saying that the iphone was disconnected but syncing the songs and pictures at the same time. I tried backing up with windows and MacBook both but none seems to work. I have updated my iTunes and iPhone both but its giving the same message. Please help me on this.
