Q: Chinese Simplified Writing Keyboard IPad mini 2

I have an IPad Mini 2 and I need the Chinese Simplified Writing Keyboard but cannot find out how to get it.  The instructions in the user manual are for regular IPads and the directions cannot be followed with the Minis.

    I am puzzled why you would think that.  For all devices running iOS, you go to settings/general/keyboard/keyboards/add new keyboards and select the one called Simplified Chinese Handwriting.
