Wanting to receive mail notifications in the Mail icon in my dock rather than in the Gmail app icon, I planned to just delete the Gmail app,but when I went to do it I received this warning message: Deleting Gmail will also delete all of its data. Is this a problem? Does the data deleted affect my email...or Gmail account? Thanks.
It won't affect your Gmail account. It will just delete the data associated with the Gmail app on your phone.
