Q: My iPhone screen is broken and I cannot enter an access code so that the "Restore" phone setting can operate. I keep getting error code 3014 when I attempt to restore. What can I do to wipe the phone?

I am trying to restore factory settings on a phone with a broken screen but I keep getting a 3014 error, and cannot enter passcode to open phone. iOS 8.3 is installed currently. I need to clear the phone before returning it and any help is appreciated.

Did you already check this article?
If you see Error 3194, Error 17, or 'This device isn't eligible for the requested build' in iTunes - Apple Support

If the phone is still connected to a network, you can also try to log into your iCloud account on your computer and wipe the phone remotely:
