I just got my apple tv but my community wifi requires a user name and a password how do i enter that the apple tv only asked for a password and wont let me connect any ideas please

Those networks require a webpage to login, Apple TV has no browser so that is not possible. You will need to contact the provider
a computer sharing the network and connecting the appletv adhoc to that computer could provide internet access for the appletv but it would mean the computer had to be running for the appletv to work
