I just wanted to know, cos i'm not sure about the box..my aunt sent me this pic.. i haven't seen it yet.

It appears to have the additional Side Switch (2nd photo) above the two volume buttons so it's an Air 1
Another way to visually check the device is to look at the bottom edge:

FWIW, my iPad Air 2 box (bought in the US) looks like this:
There is an easy way to tell which is which when the devices are still sealed in their boxes.
The Air 1 box does not have the Apple logo printed next to the "iPad" text on the side of the box.
The Air 2 box does have the Apple logo printed next to the "iPad" text on the side of the box.
As per my photo, box front for iPad Air 2 shows only a side view of the iPad, no screen visible as on iPad Air 1 box.
Look at your own pictures again...there is NO Apple logo on the Air one's box (pics 1 & 2), there is a black Apple logo on the Air 2's box (pic 3) as per my post above.
You're confusing me with the Original Poster. I'm the one who posted the picture of the real iPad Air 2 box.
Yes, apologies are in order, but...the original poster's iPad was already identified as an iPad Air 1 due to having a physical Side Switch visible on the device in shot number 2, along with no Apple logo next to the "iPad" text.
You have identified your Air 2 as well and your box does show the Apple logo.
Going by this info (along with info from past discussions), I merely provided a way to identify the devices that are still sealed in their respective boxes.
