Do you want to use a different Apple ID or edit information in your current Apple ID.

Is the primary email address Verified?
Do you have any alternate email addresses?
What browser are you using? Do you have Javascript disabled?

Jul 4, 2015 8:18 AM in response to gj501by iJoni,I have the same issue, I want to edit my primary email address from "jon.espinoza@me.com" to "jon.espinoza@icloud.com", however there is no "Edit" next to the primary address.
I tried with both Safari 8.0.7 (Enable JavaScript is checked) and Firefox 38.0.5 and still no "Edit" option.
See screenshot below from Safari 8.0.7.
Could you please advise?
Kindly Regards

Jul 5, 2015 12:40 AM in response to Barney-15Eby gj501,Hello,
It seems reasonable to consider changing the Apple ID for any number of personal circumstances, I'm surprised Apple haven't made it a straight forward process to do so. From this thread it seems that is not the case.
I'll approach Apple support for their comments.

Jul 5, 2015 6:20 AM in response to gj501by Barney-15E,You can change your AppleID. In iJoni's case, the change was from one apple account to an apple account alias, not to another user name. As the iCloud.com address is just an alias to the other, I don't know if it is possible to do that.
The only difficulty is that it must be a valid, non-Apple email address.

Jul 19, 2015 7:28 PM in response to gj501by SilentPerfection,I'm having the same issue. The edit button to change your primary address is simply not existant. The support on the phone told me it's because my Apple ID is too old. Disappointing.
