Jul 4, 2015 11:27 AM in response to jenniferfromgallowayby ChrisJ4203,In iTunes for Windows, you have to be logged into the same Apple ID, then in the Menu Bar, click on Account>Authorize This Computer. Then transfer the purchases.

Thanks for pointing this out. I guess I see why, but that sure invalidates a whole bunch of existing solutions on this site.

Jul 6, 2015 9:05 AM in response to turingtest2by ChrisJ4203,I noticed it when someone else was asking the question and after getting the solution came back and mentioned it. I then went to iTunes to check myself and found it. Change is good, or so I keep getting told!

Apple TVSee also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device, just in case there is other content you need to recover from the device. Switching libraries can cause problems.
