Questions about iCloud.com

Currently I'm using Google Drive. Do you know how I would move all of my files from Google Drive to to iCloud.com?

I have Libre Office installed on my MBP & on my Mac mini. I'd like to try Pages. It appears that I can use Pages for free if I switch to iCloud.com. I'm kind of transitioning from a PC world to a Mac world.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

It is true that I can stick with Libre Office, but save all of my files in iCloud instead of Google Drive. I have about 50 MB of files in Google Drive. I want to get an iPad & there's no version of Libre Office for iOS. That's why I'd like to try Pages. I have 4.99 GB free in iCloud. How do I find out what files there are in iCloud?

MS Office for iOS is free, but MS Office for Mac isn't. I don't want to pay a subscription to Microsoft every year. I want to get an iPad & I want to be consistent. I don't want to have more than 1 office suite. That's why I want to try Pages. I went to icloud.com & clicked on "Pages" & was informed that I had to upgrade to iCloud in order to use Pages. Is Pages free in iCloud?

From what I've read on the 'net, Pages is a full-featured word processor. I'd like to go all Mac, that is Mac laptop, iCloud, iPhone, etc. There's one teensy problem. I have a bunch of Word documents & iCloud won't save Word documents. That's not a big deal. I can just save each Word document in a Pages format & save it in iCloud.

I downloaded iWorksTrial09. I can try it out & see if I like Pages.

I wish that iCloud would save all file formats, not just Apple formats.
