Album Artwork/Manually Managing Music

Ever since I updated to iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2 it has just been a total pain. From no longer being able to manually manage my music to iTunes changing the artwork on a lot of the music that was in my own library. A few of them are totally wrong, for example the artwork for Queen's - A Night At The Opera shows as Live Killers. Now I know you'll say it's no big deal but it is to me. I have tried updating the artwork and whilst it shows fine in the iTunes on my MacBook it changes as soon as the music is on my phone. Anyone have any ideas or will I have to find another app to play my music instead? 😢 I do like the idea of all my music being on the cloud and available when I want it but it seems too much of a pain in the arse. And I can't go back 😟
