iPod 5th Gen. Turned off won't turn back on

My iPod has been working fine until now last night it worked perfect. This morning it died and I've charged it for 2 hours and still nothing. I tried to reboot and nothing happened. I tried to plug it in to connect to iTunes and the computer can't detect it. What can I do to get it to turn back on? Please help!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
