Q: my ipod fith generation will turn on but after that i can't swipe the screen to the side to put in my pass code and i can't turn it of unless i reset it by holding down the power button and home button so i really need help Thx

iPod touch, iOS 8.2, it might be ios 8.3

If you read the information in the support document I provided, it explains it completely. You connect the iPod to the computer, open iTunes if it did not open automatically, then look at the picture of iTunes in the document and it tells you what button to tap on, the one that says Restore iPod.
