I installed the software up-date on my 1Phone 4s on 4 July 2015. Since then when calls are concluded, the red button does not disconnect the phone from the connection.

Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 10-30 seconds, then release the buttons and let it finish the restart.

Thanks Ralph. I had tried this and I tried it again, but it still doesn't disconnect when I touch the red spot. I have also found one slot of my favourites is no longer active. It doesn't matter who it is; I touch the particular name and either the one above or below rings. I tried to re-enter it again as a favourite, and it imported the number incorrectly.
All this since yesterday, so it might be a bug in the updated iPhone operating system.
