iTunes 12.2: Select All not working in playlists / Albums view

Anyone else seeing this? When looking at a playlist in Albums view, Ctrt-A does nothing and Edit > Select All is greyed-out. The function works as expected in other playlist views, and when looking at the complete library in Albums view.

iPod nano (7th generation), Windows 7

I reported this as a bug, but the problem persists in today's 12.2.1 release.

This seems to be partially fixed in 12.2.2:

when a playlist is first selected, Ctrl-A doesn't work and Edit > Select All is greyed out
however, if you select one item in the playlist, Ctrl-A and Edit > Select All start working - and will continue to work until you switch to another playlist
