Can iTunes extras be shared with family sharing?

I purchased a movie in iTunes on my Mac that includes iTunes extras. I an watch the movie on my wife's iPad using family sharing but no iTunes extras are shown.

are iTunes extras not supported by family sharing?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
