My iTunes library is so messed up

My iTunes library is so messed up Im at point give up..icons are greyed out and stuff I'm putting into playlist just disappear or won't play..is this serious music site or just for teenage girls with a few 1direction songs in their library..just rubbish...Apple sort this out
