Photostream not updating

Whenever I take photos on my iPhone or iPad my photo stream updates automatically on both iPhone and iPad but inconsistently on my iMac and Macbook.

Does any one else have the same problem and knows of a solution.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
