Unable to add photos on Macbook Pro with ICloud Photo Library

Dear Friends,

I am having a very frustrating problem with the Icloud Photo Library.

I have 3 apple devices. Iphone6, Ipad air2 and Macbook Pro ( just bought ). My Icloud photo library is working seamlessly between my iphone and ipad but I am unable to get my library downloaded/created on my Macbook Pro. I have 2834 photos ( all photos) in the Iphone and Ipad and when I set up my Icloud account in the macbook pro, it is preparing the exact number of photos (2834 photos ) but then when it starts adding those items it is getting stuck at 2589 items and never adding any more items.

In the set up window, Optimize Mac Storage is selected and My photo stream and ICloud Photo Sharing is deselected.

The Photos app on the Iphone6 is always ON and phone is not locked or anything.

My wifi connection is thru fiber and I am having 30-40 down and 1.8-2 up all the time. All other devices are disconnected.

I Would very much appreciate if you could help.
