I have iphone4 and suddenly my phone mic isn't working while placing a a call.But it works normally with voice calls from skype or any other app or even voice commends on Iphone.Only for Call app of IPhone it doesn't work.
Pls erevret back with a solution.

First, reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not work, and to make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone.
If the phone works as expected, restore from the latest backup. If the problem comes back, the backup data contained corrupt data, causing your issues.
If it still does not work, the phone has to be checked by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

Hello, this is mostly a mechanical issue ; except if you have an electronics tech background (could be a hobby as I do), I don't have much a solution for you ; this is a lossy soldering issue which can be caused by shocks or simply aging ; this is really thick, not a big deal but to achieve such task you need to have the material and being confortable with electronics.
