Why is this happening?
My iphone 5s keep showing the red charging screen but it wont turn on even after a day of charging...

What do you mean by a "red charging screen"? That is something I have never seen on my phone.

like the low battery screen which requires u to plug in the charger
Then connect it to an outlet to charge for an hour then try a reset by holding the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go.
