I have no search engine on my macbook pro? what do I do? no safari no google nothing ?

ALL the Apple-installed and most user-installed Applications available on your Mac are in the Applications folder, and the Utilities folder inside that.


What subset of Icons appears in the Dock is completely under your control. [Only Icons appear in the Dock, the original Items are not moved.]


Icons dragged out of the Dock will disappear in a puff of virtual smoke. Applications dragged into the Dock (to the left/above of the divider) will have their Icons added to the Dock. (and Folders dragged into the Dock to the right/below the divider will have their Icons added in that part of the Dock.)
