itunes crashed in the middle of an update have i lost my itunes?

Can anyone help me?

I was updating iTunes to the newest version and the update suddenly stopped and crashed. I have tried to reinstall iTunes but my computer cant find a 'pathway' and I have no idea what it means. I have tried uninstalling iTunes from my computer and it says it doesn't exist even though the components are listed such as 'Bonjour'. I have no idea what to do next, have I lost my iTunes library for good? can I ever have iTunes on my laptop ever again? do I have to reset my laptop? any advice would be appreciated I feel like I have tried everything and nothing seems to be working.

Thank you 🙂
