How do I shuffle between songs from one artist over multiple albums?

I have one artist over four albums. How do I get iTunes 12.2 to play all of the songs from that artist without making playlists?

Howdy David,

You can group your iTunes music by artist if you like. In My Music, to the right there is a menu with Songs, Albums, Artists, etc. If you select Artists, all the songs by one artist will be together. See this Help article -

In particular look at the section titled Play songs in a specific order.

I know you mentioned you don't want to use playlists, but when I want everything by one particular artist I use a Smart Playlist. You don't have to manually add songs or albums to it, iTunes does all the work of figuring out which songs to add. See this article about Smart Playlists -
