But, I want my entire Libray will be save of course. There are juste to many automatic backups in my computer now.

1. Why do some people keep these automatic backups?
2. To save space, I delete all my frequently visited files, proxy and optimized media. Does this can have an impact if I want to work in a new project in a library? Again, why some people keep it all?

So that is there is a library corruption you can recover your work at some earlier point. If you lose the library database you've lost everything.
I don't use optimized or proxy media any way, and render as little as I have to.
