I can't see how many contacts are on my iPad Air2 using iOS 8.4. I would like to verify the number with my iPhone and iMac.
I have several contacts I've added on iPhone and it sync'd to iMac and not iPad. I have checked the very bottom of contact app
and the is NO number there like on iPhone.

I don't have an iPad Air, but I have an iPad Mini running iOS 8.4, and I still have the ability to view the number of contacts. Going to the contact list, I just scroll all the way to the bottom and the number is there. Try powering the phone off/on. If that does not help, do a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and release. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support One of those should correct your issue.
