Email not showing text and attachments

YYesterday my email accounts on my i

PAd started not showing any text and attachments. I have no error messages and there does not appear to be any selection under Settings to deal with this issue. I receive the emails with the TO FROM and RE lines as well as the clip indicating attachment but all emails when opened are blank. my iPhone is synched to the email accounts and I can see the text and attachments on the iPhone. Any suggestions?
