"Pages" pending update -- does not update

"Pages" pending update -- does not update

iPad mini 2

iOS 8.4 32 GB

"Pages" does not update

Please advise.

Made a folder for "App Store" and "iTunes Store" upon creating the folder I went to the App Store.

Several pre-installed applications we automatically updated (in Settings, AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS on for Updates)

When i go to the App Store there is a 1 beside "Updates"

click the Updates icon I'm am shown a list of Pending Updates:

"Pages"

followed by list of the updated apps

I have shut of automatic updates in settings, disconnected from the web and powered off then on iPad and returned to the App Store "Pages" still has pending update. ( have done this with AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS off and on for Updates in Settings)

I'm having this problem, too. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it from iTunes and it still freezes in the same spot. This is really inconvenient because I need this for work.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I am also having this issue and have also tried deleting the app, restarting my iPad, and reinstalling the app. It always gets stuck at the 7:00 mark.

i am having the same problem. Pages gets stuck updating. I updated my Mac, iTunes, iPhone all to the latest OS. I tried updating pages on my Mac but it still gets stuck.

I Also got this trouble. I kept trying to delete it and reinstall, but nothong happended. it still stuck like this 😠

Second. Same thing. I've tried all the fixes: reset, reloading connected to ITunes, none of it works. I have balked at deleting the app because that will erase all my data (I prefer not to use iCloud, so deleting the data is a big deal). It would be nice if Apple would address the problem with THEIR update (hint, hint, admins....)
