Trouble downloading for Windows Vista

I tried updating my old itunes on Windows Vista 64 but it would not work so I followed all I could find on support site. I uninstalled all of my old itunes programs and found on here; then download for the Vista 64 for the itunes 12. Once it was downloaded I received an error that the version was not compatible to my system and to contact software publisher. Im already upset that I have probably lost all my music but would really like to get this working.

iTunes 12.1.2 is the last version to work with Windows Vista (and XP) - direct links to the installers as follows:

The third of these - which is actually the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer - should be used if you get a warning about video card incompatibility when you install the standard 64-bit version, but also may resolve issues with playback, QuickTime compatibility, and problems with some third-party applications (including Outlook).
