Power Mac G4 leopard Installation

I really need to ask. I have a power Mac G4. Not the quicksilver one. The one with the floppy drive and stuff. It has a blank hdd. I have leopard disk but I can't boot into it for some reason. I opened it up and the disk drive was a cd drive, not a dvd drive. I put a dvd drive in but I am still unable to boot into the leopard disk. What can I do / what is possible for me to do now. The Mac is fully working if you need to know. I have abother imac if that could come in use as a tool

Hi,

Leopard requirements/10.5.x...

* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor

minimum system requirements

* 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)

* DVD drive for installation

* 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)

Classic/OS9 Apps no longer supported.

May be available from Apple again, or not...

Trouble is Apple no longer sells it, check eBay & such for the Retail version, not the Gray Discs...

There are workarounds if the 867MHz CPU is the only hangup...

Do you have another Mac with a DVD drive?

Is this a gray machine specific Disc, or the Retail version?
