You can't sync them. You sync to your computer.

Ddepends on what exactly you want to sync...

To sync Contacts, Calendars, etc, just sign into iCloud using the same Apple ID. Same for syncing iBooks, Apps, etc.

Otherwise, connect both devices to the same iTunes app on your computer, Import photos to your image app, and sync what you want to each device.

ONe of the pre-installed apps that you have is named iBooks. Launch it, sign in, then search for iPad User Manual. It's a free downloa. Brows thru it to learn more. There's one for the iPhone, too.

You just need to use the same Apple ID on iPhone & ipad

You dont need to use your PC it will automatically back up when on charge.

Since ios 7 almost everthing can be done over your WiFi .
