Ringtone and text tone trouble

HAs anybody experienced that the ringers and text tones i purchased and selected to contacts randomly go back to default tones yet still show that i selected ones.Thiis is a huge issue as i can barely hear default tone.Any answers would be great as im ready to destroy and go back to android?Yhanks in advance
