Issues after iTunes 12.2.0.145 upgrade

After 12.2.0.145 upgrade cannot connect to iTunes store and iTunes locks up. All of the menus are grayed out and safe mode and other suggestions haven't worked. I have the newest OS. Help!!

I created a new password using the iTunes store/account website and that fixed the problem! I had to attempt the iTunes login a couple of more times, then it accepted it and connected to the iTunes store and all of my music, movies etc. are accessible.
