Artist artwork/images appearing and disappearing

I'm having a not-that-important issue with the latest iTunes: Sometimes artist images appear under My Music and sometimes they don't. The album artwork shows up, but sometimes there's a large image of the artist that I'd guess is coming from the iTunes store.

I've tried changing the iTunes store preferences and checked the boxes to share details about my library. I've also checked my View Options and there doesn't seem to be anything that changes the setting.

I know it's just an aesthetic thing, but it's bugging me.

I'm running iTunes 12.2.0.145 on a MacBook Pro (late 2013) with Yosemite 10.10.4. And I'm having the same issue on a Mac Mini (mid 2011)

Any suggestions?
