Recommendation Request: Courses for former programmer

Brief background:

  • Former programmer - long time ago - did this for several years - I was very good
  • Assembly language - multiple mainframes
  • COBOL, Extended Algol
  • Strong experience in systems troubleshooting on mainframes
  • Strong experience in large database development - indexed & relational
  • In the IT Industry now - primarily as a SME for a highly specialized industry - now moving towards "retiring"

Goal over the next 12 months:

  • Develop programming skills maybe as hobby - maybe more - depends
  • Primary focus: iOS apps - iPhone and iPad

What do I need for someone with my background?:

  • Learn Object Oriented Programming
  • Learn XCode
  • Swift

I'd rate my likelihood of my learning this as fairly good.

Can someone make recommendations to a choice of online courses that can get me started? There are many out there - I don't know where to start. Also, in what order should I take the courses? My guess is learn a basic OO language first - Objective C, Basics of OO programming? Xcode? Swift?

If someone has been in my situation and can share what they did I'd appreciate it.
