Preview won't open eps

Preview on my new yosemite OS 10.10.3 (late 2009 MacBook) will not open eps files of songs I exported EPSF with Nightingale software. Now I want to publish some. Do I need to reinstall the music writing fonts on the yosemite font book? How can I best access my EPSF files of songs? Is there an alternative to preview?

Preview doesn't display EPS files; it converts them to PDF, and it can only do that if the required fonts are present. If you don't have the fonts, you may be able to view the screen-resolution previews embedded in the file with a third-party app. I don't have a specific recommendation. Search for a term such as "eps viewer mac."
