HI All

Does anybody have a clue to this mystery ?

I have an iPhone 6 128 GB with a Vodafone 4G card in it.

You'd expect that to work but it doesn't.

The phone connects to the 4G network, it even shows the connection at the top of the screen but not 1 little bit of data flows.

I cannot use anything on 4G. It's as if there is no connection at all.

No browsing, no app store, apps that need the internet won't work...nothing..

Tried this already:

- contact provider

- get new SIM card

- reset phone

- reset network settings ( various times )

- reinstall phone ( various times )

Yet....when I switch back from 4G to 3G, it suddenly works...albeit at 3G.

I am at a loss here and am thinking the whole 4G section in my phone is to bits.

Seeing what the darn thing cost me I would have expected better performance.

On a side note, battery life is horrible ( 1.5 days at max ) without extreme usage.

Could things be related ?

Most smartphone users charge daily. 1.5 days is pretty good.

As for the 4G data issue, based on what you've done, it may be time for a trip to the genius bar.
